What is HCASC?

HCASC is the Howard County Association of Student Councils. It serves as an umbrella organization over all of the student government associations in Howard County.

What is the Mission of HCASC?

The mission of HCASC is to provide a mechanism for the students of Howard County to initiate educational reform, promote positive relations among Howard County schools, provide a forum for students of those schools to express their opinions, act on directives of those students and express the collective opinions of HCPSS students.

What does HCASC do?

• Represents the student voice 
• Provides a forum for students to share ideas
• Presents the student opinion to the Howard County Board of Education
• Offers leadership training and opportunities for students
